You'll notice that I've done all of these rows in the same colour. This is because it's the best way to highlight the lacey windows that you make by doing this combo but obviously it's totally up to you how you choose to do it! ( a tip though...if you are going to change colour I advise you to at least keep Rows 59 and 60 one colour and then 62 and 63 another colour as if they are different you lose the effect of the windows...I found this out myself so much frogging was done on these rows believe me!) Also when you do the trebles over the chains do them in to the CHAIN SPACE itself.....life is too short to be doing them in to the chains themselves...
Row 59 (pink)
Ch2, 1 htr in same stitch and do 1htr in every stitch along to end
Row 60 ( pink)
Ch3, * 1 tr in each of next 6 stitches, (1ch miss 1 stitch, 1 tr in next) 3 times. Repeat from *
Row 61 (pink)
Ch3, * (1ch miss 1 stitch, 1 tr in next) 3 times, 1tr in each of next 6 stitches. Repeat from * to end
HOWEVER....if, like me, you didn't end row 60 on the 3 trebles/chains you will have to adapt it according to the chart....So, because I ended row 60 with 1 tr 1 chain space 1 tr (see below),
when I started ROW 61 I did ch3 , 1ch, miss 1 stitch, 1 tr in next, 1 ch ,1 tr in next the continued with pattern from 1 tr in next 6 stitches etc. See below...
So you can see 2 sets of 'windows' here |
Once you're back on the pattern you can follow the chart to the end. The important thing is that you create 3 sets of 'windows' over the 3 rows so that all your (1tr 1ch miss a stitch 3 times groups all line up above each other).
Row 62 (pink)
This row creates the 3rd set of 'windows' so again follow the chart according to your own pattern.
Hopefully we will all be on the chart here so it should be :
Ch3, * 1 tr in to each of next 6 stitches, (1ch, miss a stitch, 1 tr in next stitch) 3 times, repeat from *
Back on the pattern and 3 sets of windows formed |
Row 63 (pink)
Ch2, 1 htr in same stitch, 1 htr in every stitch along to end.
I hope this hasn't been too confusing but I'm sure you'll work it out. Just keep looking at th chart and keep all those chain space windows lined up!
