Not to be beaten by both my siblings who last year completed a 365 Photography challenge, I decided to issue a hooky challenge of my own to my lovely ladies in the Barkham Hookers. So it was simple; crochet a motif-a-day for a whole year and end up with either one large blanket of yumminess or create several smaller projects along the way.
Well....my hookers rose to the challenge that's for sure. Here is a preview of some of them at 100 squares. All gorgeous.
Lots of us have used the same Sunburst Pattern with a pale border...
Some of us have used circles...
Some have used hexagons...
Some of us have used a dark border...
Some of us have done a different type of square...
Some of us have gone for the randomness of the STASHBUSTING technique...
...whereas some have chosen very carefully...
...opting for these carefully-co-ordinated and controlled beauties..
Some have added in darker wools that make the lighter ones PING!
And together they are stunning I think. Roll on December 31st for a fabulous show and tell!
What a fab idea and it makes for such lovely and colourful post. I found you through Jill over at Emerald Cottage :-) I shall now go look for a way to follow you.

Hi Tracey, so sorry for not replying...I am still a Blog virgin and not really very good at keeping up with it! I shall try to update it soon as I have lots and lots of hooky yumminess to share! x
