NOW MEASURE YOUR RECTANGLE . Ideally the width should end up being at least 2/3 of the length.
37-45 ? If needed add on rows of trebles to one of the long ends on each rectangle to ensure you have the correct proportions. My finished rectangle measures 90cm by 64cm
Next week will be construction and making the neck so use the time to sew in all your ends!
If you wish to block your rectangles now is the time to do this. This works best on natural fibres such as wool so if your yarn is 100% acrylic it might not be worth the extra work!
