PANDEMIC PONCHO WEEK 6

 34) Long side Ch4 (=1tr+1ch), 1 tr in same place (1 v-st made), *miss 1 tr, 1 v-st in next tr

Corners and short sides as previous

35) Long side : slip stitch into the next ch-sp, Ch4, 1 tr (=1 v-st),  now work 1 v-st in every ch-sp

Corners and short sides as previous

36) Long side Ch3, 1 tr in every treble (miss the ch-sps), corner 2tr2ch2htr

Short sides : 1 htr in every dc and in every ch-sp corner 2htr2ch2tr

NOW MEASURE YOUR RECTANGLE . Ideally the width should end up being at least 2/3 of the length.

37-45 ? If needed add on rows of trebles to one of the long ends on each rectangle to ensure you have  the correct proportions. My finished rectangle measures 90cm by 64cm

Next week will be construction and making the neck so use the time to sew in all your ends!

If you wish to block your rectangles now is the time to do this. This works best on natural fibres such as wool so if your yarn is 100% acrylic it might not be worth the extra work!
